About us

Little Matcha Girl started as a Japanese-inspired cafe and patisserie in Como, Perth back in 2015, celebrating all things sweet and green. As one of Australia’s first matcha cafes, we were featured early on by publications such as Vogue Australia and The West Australian.

Since Day 1, we have sourced our tea products directly from an independent farm in the Uji, Kyoto region. By cutting out the middleman, we directly support the farmers and their surrounding community. This also means freshly ground, high-quality matcha with a single origin.

While our beloved physical store is now defunct, we continue to retail our tea products online. We also source Perth’s best cafes, including Chu Bakery and Kith Eatery, with our premium Daily-Grade Matcha.
